Story: A portrait of "the dark ways of the underworld" during the Depression. Crooked politics, murder, violence, a good story. Guest Warden Lawes of Sing Sing is interviewed after the story. Following the story Orson Welles talks to Warden Laws from Sing Sing Prison who tells us that in the 12 months of depression beginning in the late months of 1937 Sing Sing received its greatest number of first time offenders in his history.
